Privacy policy

This explains what ALND Life (alnd.life, run by Katie Jones) collects, why, and what you can do about it. Short version: I collect what I need to send you what you asked for, and I never sell or rent your information.

What I collect

  • What you give me: your name and email when you sign up for a freebie, the newsletter or a waitlist, or when you sign in to the hub.
  • Hub progress: what you check off in your hub, saved to your account so you can pick up where you left off.
  • Purchases: your name, email and what you bought. Payments are processed by Stripe. I never see or store your full card number.
  • Usage data, collected automatically: pages you visit, how you got here, your device and browser type, rough location (city level), and similar data, gathered through cookies and analytics tools.
  • Email activity: whether my emails are opened and which links are clicked.

How I use it

  • To send you what you signed up for, run your hub account, and deliver what you buy.
  • To send emails, including the newsletter and occasional offers. You can unsubscribe any time.
  • To see what’s working on the site and improve it.
  • To answer you when you reach out, and to meet legal and tax obligations.

Cookies and analytics

The site uses cookies and similar tools, including Google Analytics, to understand how visitors use it, and the Meta Pixel, to measure and show ads on Facebook and Instagram to people who visited the site. These tools may set cookies and collect usage data as described above. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics with Google’s opt-out add-on, and control Meta ads in your Meta ad preferences. The site does not currently respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals.

Who helps run the site

I share information only with services that help me run ALND Life, and only what they need:

  • MailerLite for email signups and sending emails.
  • Google (Firebase and Google Analytics) for hosting, sign-in, saving hub progress, and site analytics.
  • Stripe for payments.
  • Meta (Facebook and Instagram) for ad measurement through the Meta Pixel.

Each has its own privacy policy. I may also share information if the law requires it, to protect my rights or someone’s safety, or as part of selling or transferring the business.

I do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone.

Your choices

  • Unsubscribe: use the link at the bottom of any email.
  • See, fix or delete your info: email hello@alnd.life and I’ll take care of it.

How long I keep it

As long as you’re subscribed or have an account, and after that only as long as needed for legal, tax or record-keeping reasons.

Security

I use trusted providers and reasonable safeguards, but no website or email service is 100% secure.

Kids

This site is for adults. I don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes, I’ll update the date at the top of this page.
