First live build: Build the Kitchen Manager, Nov 19 to 21.Get your seat →

Free setup · about 25 minutes

Your AI doesn’t know your family yet. Fix that in 25 minutes.

One free interview teaches it your kids, your schedule and your food rules. Then it plans your week: dinners, what’s due, the weekend, and who needs something from you.

Works in Claude on any plan, even free. There’s a simpler version for ChatGPT and Gemini.

Why your AI answers feel generic

Your AI isn’t bad at this. It just doesn’t know your family.

Every chat starts from zero. It doesn’t know your kids, the allergy, the soccer schedule or that you have 25 minutes on a Tuesday. So you get the answer it would give anyone. Your First Hire fixes that once.

  • No more typing “no peanuts” into every chat.
  • No more dinner ideas for a family that isn’t yours.
  • No more digging through school emails for the one date that matters.
  • No more lying awake running tomorrow’s list.

What you get

Your week, planned on one page.

Every assistant on the team does its part, so you see all five work before you hire any of them.

From the Kitchen Manager

Pick your dinners

A short list made for your family, fast ones marked for chaos nights. Tap the ones you want and the grocery list builds itself.

From the Household Manager

Everything due

From the school and activity senders you named: dates, what to bring, what to sign, soonest first.

From the Activity Coordinator

The weekend

A plan that fits your drive and your budget, plus a backup if it rains or it's 100 degrees out. At least one is free.

From the Executive Assistant

Who needs something from me?

The replies you owe, drafted, and gift ideas in your budget. It skips anything that doesn't need you.

From the Personal Manager

Ten minutes for you

One reset for your week, and a question to wind down with.

The part that makes it work

It learns your house once

One interview, one question at a time, with an example answer for each. You save it with one tap, and every chat after that already knows your family.

How it works

Twenty-five minutes, once.

  1. Make Our House

One Project with the instructions pasted in. Two minutes.

  2. Teach it your house

Answer the interview, typing or talking. Messy is fine. Say “skip” to anything. Save it with one tap.

  3. Plan your week

One prompt, and your week comes back on one page. When it misses, one sentence fixes it for good.

It’s for you if

  • You run the house and you're tired of explaining it to AI.
  • You already use Claude, ChatGPT or Gemini, even a little.
  • You want the small daily stuff handled without one more app.

It’s not for you if

  • You want AI to run your life for you. This keeps you in charge.
  • You want every job handled every week, starting today. This is the first hire, and the rest of the team is still coming.
  • You'd rather not put any family details into AI. That's fair, and this needs some.

You stay in control

It asks before it guesses, and it never sends a thing.

  • Tell it about an allergy once and it leaves that food out of every idea. You still check labels before anyone eats.
  • It asks one short question instead of guessing about your house.
  • If you connect your calendar, nothing goes on it without your yes.
  • It never sends email. It drafts, you send.
  • Say “That’s not right” and it hands you the fix.

Why Katie

“I was someone’s brain for a living. Then I had three boys and did it for free.”

  • Former operations director
  • Former executive assistant
  • Mom of three boys
  • Would rather build it
  • Hates subscriptions

I'm Katie, a former operations director and a mom of three boys. Keeping a lot of moving parts straight was my job for years, and now I build AI tools for my own house so I can log out.

Every app wants its own login and its own monthly fee. I'd rather build it myself, inside the one AI I already pay for. Then the small stuff gets handled, and I get to log out, cook dinner, take the nap, be there for the moment.

Questions

Which AI does it work in?

It's made for Claude, on any plan. There's a simpler version for ChatGPT and Gemini: you paste your profile into a Project or a Gem instead of uploading a skill.

Do I need a paid plan?

No. Skills and Projects are on every Claude plan, Free included, and Free accounts get up to five Projects. For skills, turn on Code execution and file creation in Settings, then Capabilities. Plans change, so the guide links Anthropic's own pages. Connecting Gmail and Google Calendar is optional, and Anthropic lists those connectors on paid plans.

Is my family's information private?

You choose what goes in. Use first names, and leave out addresses and anything you'd hate to see leaked. While you're in Settings, look for the option that lets your chats train future models, and turn it off if you'd rather.

How long does it take?

About 25 minutes, once. Most of that is the interview.

What if it gets something wrong?

Say "That's not right. Update my profile so it never does that again." It hands you the corrected profile to save, so you fix it once.

Is it worth the time?

You put the time in once. It pays you back every day.

I know how it sounds. Who has hours to explain their whole family to AI? You don’t need hours, and you don’t have to figure out what to tell it. The prompts walk you through it. The more it learns your house, the less you explain, and it keeps getting better the longer you use it.

It interviews you

One question at a time, with an example answer, so you never have to figure out what to say.

Talk instead of type

Use voice mode or the microphone on your phone and just ramble. Messy is fine.

It gets better as you go

When it misses, one sentence fixes it for good. That's training too, and it takes ten seconds.
